At the top are four personalities who, although young in years, already possess an immense amount of experience and knowledge in IT. Their enthusiasm for web technologies and modern business solutions is something these four manage to infect their colleagues with on a daily basis.

Kian T. Gould – Founder, Managing Director and Shareholder

: Kian T. Gould

Kian T. Gould is the founder and managing director of AOE media GmbH. While still at school he founded his own company and worked on a variety of demanding Internet projects. He has over a decade of experience in the installation of complex Internet portals and applications, and has been intensely involved with TYPO3 for eight years. During this time he has worked on more than 400 TYPO3 projects.

As a Senator in the "Bundesverband für Wirtschaftsförderung und Außenwirtschaft" (Federal Association for Economic Advancement and Foreign Trade) he advises the German Federal Government on Open-Source Technology issues. Kian is the official fundraiser for the TYPO3 association and in charge of marketing for the Enterprise Web CMS, as well as being involved in a variety of TYPO3 Community Projects. He was also the first service provider to introduce TYPO3 to the Australian and North American markets.

Daniel Pötzinger – Head of Development / CIO

: Daniel Pötzinger

Daniel Pötzinger has more than seven years of TYPO3 experience under his belt, including Core-development, and has worked on about 80 TYPO3 extensions. Within the T3 Community he is considered an expert on Core Module subjects such as TemplaVoilá, as well as Language Fallbacks, Visibility and MVC. He is a skillful hand at developing clean solutions with a particular love of elegant, easily maintained and reusable coding. Daniel is always open to new projects and development methods, such as Agile Software development.

Over the last few years since joining AOE media, Daniel has played "midwife" to more than 60 Enterprise CMS-Projects for such renowned clients as congstar, Cisco WebEx and VMware: taking care of client requirements, directing the development and installing the finished result.

Joern Bock – Head of Project Management

: Joern Bock

For the last 13 years, Joern Bock has been involved with the conception, design and organization of interactive media projects. As the former boss of his own advertizing agency, as well as Interactive Online Art Director with Publicis in Erlangen (Germany), Joern brings plenty of experience in both offline and online projects to everything he does.

From 2003 to 2007, Joern worked as freelance manager and consultant entirely on TYPO3 projects – initially quite modest ones, but increasingly more complex and sophisticated. Prior to joining AOE media, he had already realized about 40 such Web-projects. As Director of Project Management at AOE media, Joern is primarily in charge of the organization of client projects such as congstar, Cisco WebEx and MONIER.

Steven Bailey - Head of Consulting

: Steven Bailey

Steven Bailey has more than 16 years of concept and design experience, mainly in online projects. As managing director and creative director for e-commerce at Gerasch Communication, Darmstadt (Germany), Steven worked on more than 50 different web-projects in just four years from 2004 to 2008, among them such major names as the Compass Group, Freudenberg, Pantech, the Schaeffler Gruppe and Software AG.

Since graduating in design from the Fachhochschule Darmstadt (a renowned Professional College) he has won several awards for his work, both online and offline: including the Red Dot Award, VDI Win Win Cup for Internet/e-Commerce and the ADC Award (Art Directors Club). At AOE media Steven is responsible for New Business and customer consulting, particularly with regard to web strategy, concept, usability and design. Born in Britain, Steven is also ideal when it comes to project-managing some of our international clients.
