Convincing presentation of the Cisco WebEx Portals at the third TYPO3 Users Day.
At the third TYPO3 Users Day in Frankfurt, Dewayne Debbs, senior Web Manager of the world´s biggest provider of Online Meetings and Conference services, Cisco WebEx, presented the architecture of their new worldwide portals.
The TYPO3 Enterprise Content Management System was entirely drafted and implemented by AOE media in just four months. Debbs, who had flown in from Santa Clara, Californien, USA at AOE media’s invitation, particularly highlighted the new system’s localizing and fallback functionality possibilities: “We run web-portals on every continent in all of the world’s strategically important markets. Before we could implement the new system, the entire content from 13 countries in nine different languages had to be painstakingly entered manually. In addition, design elements and page templates had to be permanently “encoded” in Dreamweaver.”
“I’m also very pleased, that in AOE media we have not only found a service partner capable of installing such a high quality solution within the tightest of deadlines, but also one that provides the entire internal structure of the project in English. This makes everything that much easier for all concerned. Overall, we have been able to realise a return on investment at WebEx using this system that puts all our previous experience at Cisco Systems in the shade.
