AOE media & the USA: AOE media is now the strongest TYPO3 service provider in the USA. For some time now we have been entrusted with the complete TYPO3 projects of such giants as VMware and Cisco Systems. A large proportion of our staff is involved with their various international portals on a day-to-day basis. Case studies, links and comprehensive information on the many custom extensions and functions developed and implemented for such portals will be included on our relaunched website.

But here are a few highlights:

• Static publication of all content, including replication on Akamai's global network;
• Complete re-working of the workflow and translation system to enable simultaneous and independent translation of content in different workspaces and versions;
• Complete connection to translation agencies via XML stream, the finished translated elements then only need to be imported into TYPO3;
• Complete reworking of TemplaVoila, Content Wizard and the Backend modules, which in at least one case, with over 180 FCEs and multiple websites, had become a matter of urgency.

All of this has left little time to work on our own web presence. But, have no fear, the relaunch process is now well under way and soon the new AOE website will be revealed in all its glory.
