AOE media: The open web company!

AOE media GmbH, headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a specialist provider of Open Source web solutions. We build Content Management, Online Business and e‑Commerce applications on Open Source basis, as well as offering a comprehensive IT services portfolio.

With 100 developers and consultants in six countries, with about half of them at our HQ in Wiesbaden, we develop, implement and service Enterprise Web solutions for many renowned clients. Our main markets are currently Europe, Australia and the USA. Therefore, and because of the international composition of our team, our company language is English. AOE media is a privately owned company that has shown itself able to continually grow its turnover through changing times.

The company was founded in 1999 in Tönisvorst, near Krefeld, Germany, by Kian T. Gould, and has since then increasingly positioned itself as a TYPO3 service provider. Even today AOE media is still owner-managed and has become the world's leading TYPO3 provider in volume of revenue.

Since 2002 we have been building Open Source TYPO3 Content Management Systems (CMS) for our customers. We have been instrumental in the ongoing triumph of TYPO3 since its inception, and we remain one of the TYPO3 Community's most active supporters to this day. The AOE media team has already realized more than 600 TYPO3 Projects and about 300 TYPO3 Extensions.
